Medusa is a term used to refer to a graphic representation of the relationship between one or more electronic documents through the use of an expandable/collapsible tree view (the Medusa Hierarchy Tree).  The Medusa page of the Institutional Proposal displays the Medusa tabbed section, which has two subsections:

Description

Collapse All/Expand All

Click to open or close all folders and display all branches of tree.

View

Select the desired option to display a hierarchical relationship view from the Proposal to Award or vice versa. Select the radio button to indicate your selection of the desired option.

Refresh Button

Click the refresh button to update the hierarchical tree view.

Folder/Document Icons

Folders display a minus symbol and appear to be opened when their content is displayed; a plus symbol and closed appearance when their content is not expanded for viewing. Icons for documents differ depending on type:

Document Links

Click on a document link to display any subsections under it containing summarized details and identifying information about the document.
