The Question Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values that are stored in database tables to represent searchable information that is referenced and/or made available for selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.
Use this to create and edit response types for questions that are used in Questionnaire documents (for example, Yes/No or Date) to gather specific types of answers. It is a categorical grouping that questions may be assigned to when they are created.
Caution: Existing values can be edited as long as the description is synonymous with the original term. You should not delete existing values. |
