The Notice of Opportunity maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.
Notice of Opportunity is the mechanism used to communicate information about the funding opportunity for this project. Examples include federal solicitations (e.g. RFP, RFA, PA), nonfederal solicitations, unsolicited proposal, verbal request, etc. Opportunities are the mechanisms used to communicate information about the funding opportunity for this project. You select Notice of Opportunity types on the Sponsor & Program Information section on the KC Proposal Development e-doc’s Proposal page.
