Edit Section Label: Edit Proposal Type Codes
The Proposal Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs. Use the Proposal Type maintenance document to establish or maintain unique reference table records for types of proposals. Proposal types are defined, in part, by the Federal Government for Grants.gov submission. Proposal Type is a required field for saving an initial Proposal Development e-doc.
Existing Value Modification: Since Proposal Types map to Grants.gov submissions, caution should be exercised when modifying existing values. Existing values can be edited as long as the description is synonymous with the original term. New values can be added, but be cautious. This list is based on federal government defined categories, and impacts S2S submission.. |
