Inquiry Screens and Reports

The purpose of the WVU Grants View responsibility is to give campus users access to check basic information about their grant-funded accounts. In Grants View you can answer questions like:

• What is the project's budget?

• What is the remaining project balance?

• How much has been spent so far?

• What are the demographic details for the award or project?

• Has a particular purchase been charged to a grant-funded account yet?

Where to Find Answers?

You can find answers to these questions in a number of different ways; depending on what you want to do with the information, you can look up balances or transactions and produce reports that will display your data at a glance.

• Project Status Inquiry - see the budget and balance of a project, as well as commitments such as encumbrances
• Expenditure Inquiry - see award numbers associated with a project, individual and total expenditures, the account charged for a purchase, and invoice information
• Funding Inquiry - see the work breakdown structure of a project
• Reports - view reports showing budgets, expenditures, and payroll transactions for grants accounts
