The Postal Code administration maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric zip codes and textual description values by city and state which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.

Country Code |
Required. The country code for the country associated with the zip (postal) code. Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookup icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically. |
Postal Code |
Required. Identifies a Postal Service code. |
State |
Required. The state associated with the zip (postal) code. Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookup icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically. |
County Code |
The unique identifying code for the county associated with the zip (postal) code. Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookup icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically. |
City Name |
Required. Type the name of the city associated with the zip (postal) code. |
Active Indicator |
Indicates whether the postal code is active or inactive in the KC system. Remove the check mark to deactivate this postal code. Click within the checkbox to select the item. A check mark appears within the checkbox to indicate the item is selected. Click within the checkbox again to clear the mark and deselect the item. |
